USP helped develop a sister program in Belfast, Ireland in March
of 2003. Over the past three years, USP has worked to create a
strong international partnership with Springboard, a youth serving
non-profit organization in Belfast, Ireland. Believing in the
power of our program model to unite the long divided religious
communities within Belfast, Springboard developed their own Urban
Service Project which hires and trains young people from
disadvantaged backgrounds and places them to serve youth at local
community agencies.
